Drink Jitsu Trend

Using a jumpy audio, people have created a trend to showcase their drink or food, mostly when eating out at a restaurant. In the lower tone pieces of music creators do a ‘build up’ move, often being a superhero hand movement before the music builds to its climax, where the creator then reveals their drink or food. However, some creators have taken this trend and given it their own unique spin, showcasing other things on the beat drop like their pet or child, in a weird position, making it comedic.

Fendi Fendi Fendi Dance Trend

The ‘Fendi Fendi Fendi’ dance and lip-sync trend is built around a catchy audio/song that repeats the word ‘Fendi’. A creator had built a synchronized group dance emphasizing fashion, style and swagger, that is simple enough for people to learn and add their own spin on, therefore gaining popularity quickly. Despite the song featuring the fashion house ‘Fendi’, this trend or audio is not being used as a official campaign for the brand.

Honeybee – Olivia Rodrigo audio trend

With the release of Olivia Rodrigo’s new album came an array of new trending audios. One that has prevailed about the rest is her song Honeybee, creators have used this as a way to showcase their relationship with their partner, or family members. Using the lyrics ‘Baby boy, Honeybee, God I love the way you look at me’, creating a three page slideshow, ending with their partner looking at them in a loving way. However, naturally creators have put their own spin on the trend, using their pet or even creating fan edits of characters in movies, one being the minions.

Accent/Word pronunciation challenge

Creators have taken a classic trend and turned it into their own, like the classic accent challenge they take a phrase and try to say it in multiple different ways. They usually pick comedic ways or emotions for their ‘accent’ For example saying it sarcastically, moodily, angrily or tiredly. However in some cases creators have used personas like the video above, playing on stereotypes and even characters in movies or tv shows they have watched.

Sue Me – Audrey Hobert Audio Trend

Ever since ‘Sue Me by Audrey Hobert’ went viral after being featured in the viral tv show Off Campus, creators have been using the song as backing music for all types of videos. Creators are mostly using the sound to lip sync to, and dance to, with each creator having their own unique spin on the trend. Because of the high energy of the audio, some creators are using it as their ‘crash out’ song, taking their frustration and anger out by dancing and lip syncing to the audio aggressively.
